On 24 June 2024, in Luxembourg, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will take part in a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union in Luxembourg.
At the meeting, ministers will discuss the EU’s future support to Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggression, as well as the situation in the Middle East, the Western Balkans, Georgia, and the Great Lakes region.
The Foreign Affairs Council examines topics related to the EU’s external action, including the Common Foreign and Security Policy, the European Security and Defence Policy, external trade, and development cooperation. The main task of the Council is to ensure the unity, consistency and effectiveness of the EU’s external action.
