The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, is taking part in the opening panel discussion of the 5G Techritory Forum on priorities for European cyber security and connectivity.
At the forum, experts will share their experience and knowledge of the latest technological advances and innovations – in cyber security, quantum technology, artificial intelligence, and 6G. The forum will also feature experts’ discussions on new possibilities and solutions for cooperation.
The 5G Techritory international technology forum will be held in Riga for the seventh year on 30 and 31 October.
This year's 5G Techritory Forum will also include delegations from Ukraine and Moldova. Members of delegations will be able to meet representatives from the European Commission, technology companies and investors with a view to developing opportunities for cooperation. The forum is expected to highlight the needs of both Ukraine and Moldova in the process of developing their digital infrastructure.
The event will be attended by the Prime Minister of Latvia, Evika Siliņa, and other officials. The participants include Vice President of Nokia for Policy and Government Affairs EU and Europe, Marc Vancoppenolle, the Head of Trend and Innovation Scouting at Nokia, Leslie Shannon, the Director General for Digital- and Data-Policy at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport of Germany, Benjamin Brake, and other experts, researchers and members of the business community.
