On 30 September and 1 October 2024, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will be staying in Warsaw, Poland, on a working visit to strengthen ties with Poland as one of Latvia’s key allies and to attend Warsaw Security Forum, one of the leading European security conferences.

During her visit, the Foreign Minister will join the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine, Poland, Sweden and Lithuania in Warsaw Security Forum’s high level discussion aimed at coordinating further action for enhancing of Europe’s security and defence capabilities.

In a round table dicussion on European security organised by the Ditchley Foundation, Baiba Braže is to deliver a speech to thirty prominent foreign policy experts and opinion leaders from across Europe and the United States.

In addition, the Minister will take part in a ministerial meeting organised by the Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

The agenda of Foreign Minister Braže’s visit also includes several bilateral meetings with Polish officials, as well as interviews to Polish media – Polish Radio and OneNet.pl – and a Ukrainian newspaper The Kyiv Indepedent.
