On 29 August 2024, in Brussels, Belgium, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will attend an informal meeting of the foreign affairs ministers of the European Union (EU). Its agenda is to focus on further support for Ukraine and developments in the Middle East.
In a discussion on the situation in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba will join the ministers in person.
In a session on developments in the Middle East, the ministerial discussion will be joined by the Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Haag.
An exchange of views is also planned with the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, including the stopping of the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
