Further information

  • The US is Latvia’s strategic partner and Ally. Security policy is the cornerstone of bilateral cooperation between Latvia and the US. Latvian and US public officials maintain a regular political dialogue on current regional and international developments.
  • The US recognised the Republic of Latvia de iure on 28 July 1922.
