On 24 and 25 March 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, while on a working visit in Washington D.C., is to meet with the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, as well as officials of the U.S. administration and members of the Congress.
The visit takes place on the invitation of the U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
The Minister will participate in the commemoration event for communist deportations at the Victims of Communism Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Baiba Braže’s schedule includes taking part in an event organized by the Embassy of Latvia in honour of the Oscar-winning animated film, The Flow, and having a meeting with the Latvian diaspora.
