On 25 January 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, will welcome a working visit from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Pekka Haavisto.
The officials intend to discuss the bilateral relations between Latvia and Finland, regional cooperation, Russian aggression against Ukraine, and the process of Finland’s accession of to NATO.
As part of his visit, Foreign Minister Haavisto will meet with the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, and take part in the meeting of the heads of the Latvian diplomatic missions abroad, at which he will deliver a presentation on security in the Baltic Sea region.
