On 26 November 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, and the Undersecretary for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic, Claudio Javier Rozencwaig, signed an agreement between the Governments of Latvia and Argentina on cultural cooperation.
The intergovernmental agreement will give an impulse for building direct contacts and expanding cooperation between cultural institutions of the two countries. The agreement envisages sharing of experience and participation in diverse cultural activities, including international events held in both the countries.
Regardless of the large distances, good cooperation has been established in the areas of music, contemporary dance and cinema between Latvia and Argentine.
