On 8 March 2024, in Vilnius, Lithuania, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Krišjānis Kariņš, will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Stéphane Séjourné, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
These talks are a follow-up to the conference of European leaders on stronger support to Ukraine hosted by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of the Baltic States, Ukraine and France intend to discuss options for expanding support to Ukraine in order to strengthen its capacity to repel the Russian invasion, as well as further steps to isolate the aggressor state Russia.
A joint press conference of the Foreign Ministers is to be held at the conclusion of the event.
