On 28 February 2020, the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs held yet another public seminar on recent developments on the application of sanctions. The presentations and discussions at the event were related to the types of sanctions currently valid in Latvia, the latest news and updates, and the role of Latvian institutions in sanctions-related matters.
The seminar on sanctions was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in association with the Financial Intelligence Unit of Latvia, the Financial and Capital Market Commission, the Ministry of Justice, the Register of Enterprises, and the State Revenue Service. The event brought together 96 representatives from companies, banks and other institutions.
