On 21 February 2020, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Dr Srdjan Darmanović, who will be in Latvia on a working visit. The Ministers are going to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional security issues as well as sharing views on developments in the Western Balkans.
During his visit, the Foreign Minister of Montenegro will open the first Honorary Consulate of Montenegro in Latvia and visit the Camp Ādaži military base to meet with the Montenegrin troops who are part of the NATO enhanced Forward Presence battle group in Latvia.
