Ārlietu ministrijas parlamentārais sekretārs Reinis Brusbārdis

This week, the post of Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is assumed by Reinis Brusbārdis, who served as Adviser to the Prime Minister for Foreign Policy and European Union (EU) Affairs for the past two years.

Reinis Brusbārdis, on taking up office, thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs for being invited to work on his team. The Parliamentary Secretary underlined that he would make every effort to achieve the set goals: strengthening the security of the region, supporting Ukraine, and attracting investments to the Latvian economy that focus on exports of high value added.

Reinis Brusbārdis is a career diplomat, with professional experience gained at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2008. He has worked on topics concerning international organisations, security policy and the EU in the course of his career.
