In 2022 Latvia has made voluntary contributions to 25 international organisations and funds demonstrating its solidarity with the UN system and regional partners. Contributions are made in line with Latvia’s priorities - ensuring peace and security, protecting human rights, advancing gender equality, promoting media and information literacy, ensuring sustainable development and providing humanitarian assistance.
The efficiency of international organisations and funds are directly related to timely regular contributions complemented by the voluntary inputs by countries and other donors.
