On 20 and 21 October 2023, the National Library of Latvia hosted the annual security and foreign policy forum, the Riga Conference 2023, which brings together high-ranking politicians and recognised experts for discussions on regional and international developments.

• On 19 October Jānis Bērziņš, Director General for EU Coordination and Policy, participated in the discussion "EU Enlargement and the Call for Reform: What’s in it for the Baltics?".
• On 20 October Andrejs Pildegovičs, H.E. Ambassador at Large,moderated the discussion "Empowering Women: Leading Through Turbulent Times of War".
• On 20 October Krišjānis Kariņš, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Thierry Breton, European Commissioner for the Internal Market Participants, shared their views on current challenges to European and transatlantic security.
• On 21 October Baiba Braže, H.E. Ambassador for Special Assignments, participated in the discussion "How Will Power Shifts In The Indo-pacific Impact Transatlantic Community?".
